What happens when pilots get airsick?
Occasionally, pilots in training have a tough time adapting to turbulent weather and aerobatic maneuvers. Luckily, there are programs and techniques that can help pilots overcome these uncomfortable sensations.

IFT Solo Flight

My first solo in the DA-20 aircraft! The first of many milestones in the Air Force pilot training pipeline. I've also been fortunate to solo the Cessna 172 and the Cirrus SR-20. This one is by far the lightest and most responsive, but that also makes it trickier to land! (You can see as I float quite a while in the flare)

Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa - 60 Days Part 4

During our final days in Italy, we visited Florence. From Florence, we did a Tuscany day trip that I 100% recommend. It was a fully guided trip to Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa. Our tour guide was excellent and we had so much fun I forgot to record half of the things we saw. It also included lunch with wine, which was excellent. Here is a link to the company/reservation if you're ever in Flore...

Cadet Pay at USAFA?

Although the Air Force Academy offers a full coverage of tuition, meals and room and board, cadet pay can be unpredictable and underwhelming... That said, it is still enough to cover monthly expenses like a phone bill, weekend plans and your plane ticket home for the holidays. There are also other options such as the career starter loan offered by Navy Federal and USAA. I'll cover that in anoth...

The one no one says is 8:00 pm / 20:00 is that pronounced "twenty hundred"
Seriously, dude! TWO people and sitting on the floor with your feet against a drawer to roll one pair of socks!!! LOL Only men could complicate something women were doing successfully and fuss-free for years until women's lib and war forced men to learn to roll their own darned socks. Who knew watching someone rolling socks could be so entertaining. The lying on top of each other heel up was all I needed here. Thanks for that at the very least. LOL Anyone watching this - just put your socks on a flat surface and roll carefully. Unless you need it so compact that you plan to use it as a weapon or need two extra millimetres in your backpack, you don't need to go this crazy. Have a wonderful sock-rolling day. :D
You don’t get out of work until 11 pm?!
My son is the Chow runner now and his letters said it was not easy 😢😮 thank you all for your service God bless you all #Afwingmom ❤
Army DFAC is way better
Do you USAF guys get so few socks that you can spend so much time rolling them up...? 😂
Terrible experience got it 3rd try once I was allowed to go in alone
Nice bit of nostalgia with this video. I hope you’re still going at it! When I hit 38 and realized if I had stayed in (fuel systems) I’d be retired with my whole life still ahead of me. Great video. Loved Swing shift!
Currently a A1C, with a year in service. Any advice for trying for trying to receive a nomination for the Academy, from a Mustang such as yourself? Currently in security forces, but I want to commission and return to the career field.
Hey dude, how's UPT goin?
Why not just go active duty to make more money and do online college
Beautiful l wan to join
Does active duty airmen have access to all sports facilities?
So, if I get a bad GPA and SAT/ACT score, I should enlist and then apply to the USAFA?
0.5/5 video
Not bad at all
That's you!
Congratulations Sir!! This actually gives me hope for the Air Force I once served in!!! 1985-1991 F-4s F-16s... Stayed on outside Spangdahlem ... never went back Conus... God Bless you!
94 Grad here. I was like "You gotta be f@$ing kidding me!!!" then I read the comments...lol BTW "Chicken tendies and mac" is NOT a celebratory meal. lol
Thank you it's going to help me tell time on my friends phone and my phone. Again thank you for teaching me how to tell Military time.
Keep up the hardwork Lt
A few decades ago, you would pick your job with your recruiter and it was guaranteed. But that was not long after it became a all volunteer force and they needed folks.
When I went in decades ago, the paper that showed all available bases to choose was so outdated that 3 bases showing on it for me to choose from, were all to close in the next year and were not taking new troops. At least now, you can see where we are needed. Needless to say, I was 1000's of miles away from where I wanted and this lead to me getting out as it seemed that if I reenlisted, I would be at my same hell hole for another year or two and then go overseas, so I got out. My bases choices were not popular by any means. I chose some in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. But to no avail. I always wonder to this day, if they had given me just one of my 8 choices, actually 5 choices, since 3 were closing, that I would have gotten that being close to home out of my system and I would have stayed in. Sadly I was just a young kid and could not see the big picture.
They lied to me at some local College so the recruiters could get a commission. I end up having to pay back all these loans when I could have became a EMT at any Community College and signed up for the FAFSA and the state fee waivers 😮 people just seem to be getting Dumber too and they don't realize that nobody wants people that only went to school online. I hope this message gets to the right person because we need more people in real life that aren't scared to do Hands-On things or talk to people.
This shit gives me anxiety. I was TRS 326, Bulldogs flight 245. I am beyond glad I did my time and got out!! Ima free bird
Great info!
Life is short.
My friend house coming over
So much time spent socking rolls
You're the best WB!
As someone who got rejected 2028 and is applying next year-what did you do to improve your application every time? And was there anything that stuck out your last time when you got accepted?
Most written times in the UK are in 24 hours. So we are used to this. 18:00 - ''The Simpons'' is ingrained into generations of people.
Thanks this was very helpful, I need military time to setup my new computerized telescope. That's how it has to be setup😊😊
Did you need permission to upload this video??? Thinking about making one
What is a football manager?
Can I also wear my contacts during reception? While waiting for the glasses they will issue, as I don’t have a glasses because I don’t wear one.
Can I bring my contacts, and just keep them in my locker until graduation? Can I wear them for graduation? Or for the blues photo?
I’d laugh at the MTI’s at USAFA having already been through BMT, not that I wouldn’t take it seriously. Just having to go through that shit again is funny.
Welcome to TRSSon
Doesn’t the military try to make up for the extra cost due to where they stationed you? Is that added somewhere else in your pay?
Really helpful, thank you so much all the way from Matlock, Derbyshire, United Kingdom. ❤
your story is completety and utterly inspiring, your strength to never give up makes me believe i have the chance to pursue my dreams and i hope you know other people think this too
I have some questions: Are high school students the only people that can apply? If I continue to be passed on, can I continue to apply the following semester or year? What’s the oldest you can to be a cadet for AFA? Any information would greatly be appreciated.
Other people are allowed to join like military personal and other regular civilians. And yes! You can apply after highschool, it just might be harder to be accepted though. And I think the oldest is 23!
We all felt that way and felt that way and it was even worse then i could of imagined when we got there.
Asthma never truly goes away military asthma policy sucks
broo I used to be a massive fan of Achievement Hunter lmao
Haven’t had a prescription for ezcema since 2016 do I still have a shit of joining??
I love your videos but how do you guys at graduation get your hats back, if you do at all. Sorry I almost just feel that's something I'd want to keep as a token of graduating.
Do they still have the penny roller? I remembered that most as a kid.
Then you get replaced by a drone 😂
